Air Cargo for Shippers 360°
Become an expert in international air cargo and shipping processes and understand the connections between air freight, customs, documentation and export operations. The “Air Cargo for Shippers 360°” course provides a comprehensive understanding of the entire international transport chain from the perspective of industrial companies, export departments and shipping teams.
The course follows the typical workflow of an international air freight shipment – from shipment preparation and booking to documentation, customs clearance and final delivery. Over three intensive training days, participants gain a comprehensive overview of the operational processes, responsibilities and requirements involved in international shipping. Special focus is placed on transport documentation, AWB, CMR, Incoterms 2020, customs procedures, HS Codes, origin and preferential trade regulations, as well as export control and compliance. Participants will also learn how to better understand air freight and customs costs, evaluate shipping decisions from a commercial perspective and avoid common operational mistakes. Practical examples, case studies and document exercises provide direct relevance to daily operations and valuable know-how for the safe, compliant and efficient handling of international air freight shipments.
